No disrespect to Outbursts of Everett True (please don't hurt me, Mr. True!), but Mr. Skygack From Mars is my favorite work from A.D. Condo. It's a classic, even hoary, premise today, but this might have been one of the first instances of it: what would an alien from Mars say if he could see the things we Earthlings do? It's a simple premise, but Condo milks it to wonderful effect, creating the first science fiction premised work in comic history!

Contemporary audiences agreed with me, as newspaper letter columns were full of praise for Skygack, and there are even photos of people in Mr. Skygack costumes, which must surely have been the first science fiction cosplay!
