"Brad" was a ubiquitous creator in the first wave of comics published in the Chicago Tribune. His strips often follow a pretty standard premise, often with the premise clearly delineated in the name of the lead character. I'm not going to lie: these aren't my favorite comics. But there is a verve to the work that comes from being a pioneer, and that makes them worth checking out. There's a representative sample of each strip below, and links to full archives.
