Today’s feature is another F.M. Howarth strip, the last one he invented before his all-too-untimely demise. Jonah Jimsenweed is another henpecked Howarth fellow, like Mr. Dingle and Leander before him. This fellow, however, is set apart by the physical torment he’s subjected to and a terrific catch-phrase. “Great spouting whales!” is sure to become a classic in my personal vernacular, as I am frequently up against it, myself. As with Opie Dilldock, the strips past September 20th are by “Wells.”

Also up today are more strips from the Million Dollar Kid, finishing out its run, and a little strip following the romantic mishaps of Miss Lonely.
